I am living my daily life, going through the routine of work and evenings at home, but my focus is on my music. I'm having a hard time containing myself.  I'm so excited!    

I've continued to pray for guidance and I am getting it.  Sometimes God just plops thoughts into my mind, but he also communicates to me through other people.

I just had a wonderful weekend.  I attended a conference with a fun theme based on music from the 60’s and 70’s.  I got to know some friends better and I made some new friends.  I hung out with people of like mind and we shared our stories.  I sang, I laughed, and I cried.  I gained new insights.  At least 50 of us danced together on Saturday night without a drop of alcohol in our bloodstreams.  I left feeling peaceful, joyful, and contented.

When I got to work this morning, I discovered I had been "flocked." A coworker had donated money to the Luekemia/Lymphoma Society. In return, she got to choose somebody to "flock," which meant a couple of other coworkers decorated my cube with streamers, balloons, and pink flamingos. I sat down in my cube and cried.

The contrast between the fear in my stomach and the fun, joyful decorations struck me. I had been feeling afraid and realized I was thinking negative thoughts about my future.
